Manganese ore and its compounds are applied in various fields of modern industry. The iron and steel industry is the most important area that accounting for 90% ~ 95% of manganese is mainly used as deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the process of ironmaking and steelmaking, as well as alloy manufacturing. The remaining 10% to 5% of manganese is used in other industrial fields such as chemical industry (manufacturing various manganese salts), light industry (used in batteries, matches, lacquer, soap, etc.), building materials industry (glass’ and ceramics’ colorants and fading agents), defense industry, electronic industry, and environmental protection, agriculture and animal husbandry , etc.

AMG owns five manganese ore mines such as Mukulu, Doornpan, and Glosam, with exceed 200 million tons exploitable resources. And the main mineral resources discovered include: low-grade-ferruginous and high-grade-manganiferous ore, high-grade-ferruginous manganese ore, semi-carbonaceous manganese ore, hematite, etc.

Chromite is mainly used to produce ferrochromium and chromium in the metallurgical industry. Chrome-ore and ferrochromium alloy is used as a steel additive to produce a variety of high-strength, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, heat-resistant, oxidation-resistant special steels, such as stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, ball bearing steel, spring steel, tool steel, etc. . Chromium is mainly used for smelting special alloys with cobalt, nickel, tungsten and other elements. These special steels and special alloys are indispensable materials for aviation, aerospace, automobile, shipbuilding and defense industries to produce guns, missiles, rockets, warships, etc.. Chromite can also be used to make refractory materials, chemical catalysts and activitor.

AMG owns two chrome ore mines with proven reserves of more than 60 million tons of exploitable resources.

AMG Group innovatively proposed “China-Africa cooperation in production capacity improvement” development initiatives and wholly purchased 7.7 square kilometers of industrial land in 2018 to develop AMG manganese alloy industrial park based on the argumentation research and trend judgment of the "China-Africa" development.

The industrial park, close to the R325 highway, 15 kilometers away from the Lohatlha railway station, where main road and railway pass through, is planned to be located in Postmaburg with an area of 7.7 square kilometers and well-developed traffic. The region has a complete electric power configuration and is rich in resources with many large mines around it. The industrial park is a combination of five major functional areas, including integrated service and living area, mining equipment area, warehousing and logistics area, mineral processing area and smelting area.

● Integrated Service Area：covering an area of 1,000,000 square meters, a supporting government administrative service center (includes high-rise residential villas for staff quarters, hotels, shopping malls, hospitals, and golf training grounds, etc.) with functions of business administration, customs, and taxation and so on will be built. Mixed development is the main feature of the community model, which integrates residential, commercial, leisure and business in one and creates the vitality and diversified lifestyle. The community will also build an artificial lake to make the integrated comprehensive service area full of life and vitality with cooperative development scale.

● Logistics Area：a logistics service center integrates highway, railway and shipping. The completion of the logistics area will further help the AMG Industrial Park to create the role of a regional logistics center and become an important fulcrum to influence South Africa and even the entire African continent.

● Mining Equipment Area：to create build an international trading platform for mining equipment with advanced equipment manufacturers in order to connect Africa's developed mining with mining machinery products.

Mining equipment leasing, spare parts and maintenance have provided continuous growth for the major mining machinery manufacturers in the post-equipment services.

● Mineral Processing Area：AMG Group and Huate Magnetic Separation Co., Ltd. have reached South Africa beneficiation R & D projects, aiming to build South Africa's most advanced comprehensive mineral processing solutions. The area offers one-stop investment services, covering the entire production process from raw material acquisition to finished product export. And the project particularly provided Northern Cape Province with good opportunities for foreign investment in order to solve problems such as employment, inequality and poverty.

● Smelting Area：the smelting area will implement the development plan of multiple parks in one, taking the ferroalloy smelting as the basis, the iron and steel smelting as the extension, and the local mineral processing area as the support to introduce superior production capacity and promote investment by overseas-funded enterprises through attracting foreign investments.
